Following 18+ years of marketing leadership with Fortune 50 companies including Ford, Pfizer, and McKesson, Lori decided to enter the world of residential real estate - a field for which she's always had a passion! Lori is a member of the Marion Filley Team Advantage (MFTA), one of the most experienced and successful agent teams in Fairfield County, CT. In partnership with Compass, Lori brings an innovative and modern approach to real estate, making the search and sell experience intelligent and seamless.
A Michigan native, Lori graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Business and Marketing. Due to job transfers, Lori, her husband and their 2 daughters moved around the country quite a bit, including stops in Detroit, Cincinnati, and Dallas. Their biggest move came in July 2014 when Lori's husband was transferred to Zurich, Switzerland.
While there, Lori was a volunteer liaison at the International Community School (ICSZ). She knew all too well the feeling of moving to a new and unfamiliar place and wanted to help guide others in the transition. Lori assisted new ICSZ expat family transitions, facilitating cultural integration processes and day-to-day life adaptation, among other things.
After three years in Switzerland, Lori and her family moved back to the United States and settled in Wilton, Connecticut. She gravitated towards the New England charm and beauty, winding roads, and the all American feel while still being close to the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.
Lori's children are in the Wilton public school system and are heavily involved in sports. You'll often find her sitting on the sidelines at softball games and dance recitals.
Lori is very involved in the community and participates in many local clubs and organizations such as the Wilton Woman’s Club, Minks to Sinks, Grace Community Church, and Lake Club. She also serves as Co-Chair for the Wilton Woman’s Club Junior Leadership Program.
Lori's love for travel, innovation, and people made Compass her perfect match. She is so thrilled to be a part of an industry that combines all of her favorite things and enjoys helping others find their place in the world.
